Please Note: Spring season in Nepal is from March through May. This is an ideal time for a helicopter tour as the visibility of the mountains is clear and the weather around the base camp is moderate and favorable. The daytime temperatures are warm at around 60°F and the early morning and nights are cold at around 14°F.

June to early September is the monsoon season and the flights are not recommended due to the unstable weather conditions.

October and November are the fall months and another good time for the helicopter rides and the visibility of the Himalayan range is clear and the temperatures are moderate

December to February are winter months and while the visibility of the range is incredible, the freezing temperatures and the winds can be challenging.

All helicopter flights operate subject to local weather conditions on the ground and maybe canceled at short notice. In the event of a cancellation due to weather conditions, we will try and reschedule the flight for the next day.

During the Mt. Everest helicopter excursions temperatures can be quite cold. Down jackets, hats, scarves, and gloves are provided by our Nepal staff for your comfort.
